The Blyth Aviation Pathway is an industry leading pilot training program. This program is meant to teach and train young pilots to a commercial standard at an early age to help meet the industry’s current demand!

In their first year (grade 11), students will receive 75 hours of flight training and over 350 hours of instruction from a certified Flight Instructor to meet all of the Transport Canada Private Pilot requirements and earn their Private Pilot’s Licence!

Over the summer between grades 11 and 12, students will be required to complete an additional 25 hours of flight training, completing their CPL required Night Rating and 300NM Cross Country flight. Cumulatively, students will enter their second year with a minimum of 100 hours. This will ensure students are on track to complete their CPL at the conclusion of grade 12.

In their second year (grade 12), students will receive their final 100 hours of flight training and 80 hours of ground school by a certified Flight Instructor to complete all of the Transport Canada Commercial Pilot requirements.
