This is a 1-hour Introductory flight with 30 minutes of ground training that will allow you to experience the thrill of flying at Spectrum Airways without having to make any commitments to flight training.

The Introductory Lesson is considered a true flight lesson and the flight time can be logged into your flight log book if you decide to continue with your flight training.  If you have a particular area you would like to fly over during your flight, such as flying over your house, you can discuss that with your instructor when you arrive for your flight. We will do our best to accommodate your request but due to time, weather and airspace restrictions, sometimes your request is not possible. You can observe an instructor doing an aircraft walk-around prior to flight, see the steps of taxiing to the runway and completing necessary steps inside the cockpit prior to take-off. Once you are in the air, the instructor will allow you to take control of the aircraft, if it is safe to do so, and perform basic maneuvers such as straight and level (keeping the aircraft level with the horizon) and steep turns (banking the aircraft to make a sharp turn). The instructor will take control to do the landing and provide a post-flight briefing too!
