Spectrum Discovery Flight

Decide whether the feel of flying is right for you with this cost-friendly, commitment-free, 1-hour introductory lesson.

The discovery flight is considered a true flight lesson with one hour that can be logged into your flight log book if you decide to continue with your flight training. Once you are in the air, the instructor will allow you to take control of the aircraft if it is safe to do so, and perform basic maneuvers such as straight and level (keeping the aircraft level with the horizon) and steep turns (banking the aircraft to make a sharp turn). The instructor will take control to do the landing and provide a post-flight briefing too!  Discovery flights are non-refundable and valid for 1 year from purchase date. Prices are subject to change without notice and customers will be responsible for the difference.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The Discovery Flight can only be taken once as it is considered an official training flight at a very low rate. If you enjoy your discovery flight and wish to keep flying, please submit an application along with the application fee in our “Admissions” page.

  2. If you are 14 years of age and under, please note that you can take the Discovery Flight but cannot start flight training until you reach the age of 16.

Sightseeing flight Spectrum

Our sightseeing flights give you the chance to see the GTA from a different perspective. Groups of up to three people can be accommodated in one of our Cessna 172’s, a four seat aircraft that provides a great view of the earth below. You may choose one of three sightseeing destinations: Downtown Toronto City Tour, Niagara Falls Tour, or a local tour to see the fall colours. Sightseeing flights are non-refundable and only valid for 1 year after purchase date. Prices are subject to change without notice and customers will be responsible for the difference.

PLEASE NOTE:

Toronto Centre is experiencing a large volume of calls and traffic. If entry in their airspace is denied, we can either reschedule your flight or alternate to a different sightseeing destination.
